Katherine Pearce, L.Ac., MSTOM

Katherine is a licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. She graduated summa cum laude from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1998 and has been in full time practice ever since. She has worked in many settings using acupuncture for addiction recovery and for aiding end of life transition at hospice. She also worked in Sonoma county for 12 years with a medical doctor practicing integrative medicine with an emphasis on chronic illness and cancer.

Katherine has studied mindfulness and Jungian theory with dream work and likes to explore the relationship between the emotions and the body. Chinese Medicine never separated body and mind in the way that occurred in the west and she finds it a perfect modality to work with both psyche and soma to free longstanding “patterns of disharmony,” physical symptoms and emotional disquiet.
