Ayurveda Consultations, Reflexology and Oncology Massage
Teri holds a 4-year master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM), and a Master of Science degree from University of California, Davis in community health and organizational development. She has studied in India and is a Certified Ayurveda Practitioner.
Teri has an active practice and takes an East-West approach in all of her treatments, teachings and individual consultations. In her work with cancer patients, she incorporates Ayurvedic lymphatic drainage and reflexology of the feet, hands, ears and head. She also uses pranayama breath work, guided meditation and cranio-sacral therapy to support healing. In her Ayurveda consultations Teri also offers nutrition counseling and self-care education. Annette is a California State certified Massage Therapist serving the Bay Area since 1968. In 1987, having studied with the late Mary Burmeister, she became certified in Jin Shin Jyutsu®
Annette offers Therapeutic Massage, Jin Shin Jyutsu and Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help meditation to patients at CSS.
Therapeutic massage releases muscular tension, aids circulation and can reduce edema while providing relaxation and a good night’s sleep. Jin Shin Jyutsu, a form of acupressure, harmonizes the energetic pathways in the body and uses the body's inherent wisdom to facilitate healing. These treatments can also relieve nausea, fatigue, depression, anxiety and pain.
Each Friday, Annette offers a 30-minute Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help meditation online at 11 am PST. Email her to register for one of these sessions.
Sage is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a focus on women's health. She offers trauma-aware, body positive care to those experiencing hormonal symptoms, chronic pain, and other side effects of cancer treatments.
She studied management of cancer with Chinese medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, completing her masters degree in 2014, and continues to deepen her understanding of healing through postgraduate courses in Classical Chinese herbal medicine. She gained further experience at the Charlotte Maxwell Center in Oakland, CA.
She is honored to support the clients at Cancer Support Sonoma.
Psychotherapy & Group Counseling
Natalie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California and has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has worked in the health care field for almost 30 years, specializing in treating individuals, their families and caregivers around living with illness, loss and chronic pain.
Natalie also consults with caregivers to support them in their unique needs while dealing with a loved one with cancer and other illness. Her eclectic treatment approach is tailored to every individual’s needs. She works with children, couples and families, and has done research in many areas, including the issue of parenting through cancer.

Dr. Danielle is a California licensed naturopathic doctor, practicing natural family medicine in her hometown of Sonoma. After managing a successful practice in San Diego for several years, she has returned to the Valley to be closer to family and to be an active member of a strong community. She earned her doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine from National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from San Diego State University.
While attending NCNM, Dr. Danielle completed a clinical rotation in integrative cancer care and has since incorporated the skills and expertise within her private practice. It is Dr. Danielle’s goal to improve the quality of life of her patients by enhancing vitality and safely balancing organ systems that are compromised during conventional cancer treatments.
